Chloe's Winter Wonderland

So it sounds like we are going to be having another crazy winter this year after an extremely mild Winter of '09. With this brings a ton of snow and a lot of my dog Chloe's favorite activity, shoveling. From a dog who plays fetch every waking minute of the day, I bring you Chloe fighting snow. She is a bit ridiculous, but there is definitely never a dull moment from her that's for sure.

Back to Blogging

It has been over a year since my last blog post, but I think I will start blogging again. I have always been a big fan of journaling my thoughts about what I read, what has been happening in my life and just random thoughts on things.

Since my last blog post I have received a Masters degree in Education Media Design and Technology and found out that Whitney and I will be having our first baby this May (which is probably the coolest thing that has ever happened to me).

With today being Thanksgiving I should probably tell you what I am thankful for. I am first of all thankful for a loving God who has always had his hand over my life. I find it hard to understand how you could think there isn't a God with the amazing things that happen in our world. I look at the kids that I teach everyday and the mini-miracles that happen frequently and know that God is definitely behind it. I am also thankful for an amazing wife, great family, incredible friends and for having a job to go to everyday. All of these things may sound small to some people, but to me these are the foundation for a great life. Being surrounded by people who are supportive of what you do and who you are is essential.

Happy Thanksgiving to all and may God bless your family throughout this holiday season.
