Well, as most of you know, I am a teacher. This means that I am surrounded, in my case, by about 85 different kids in my room throughout the day. Now, 6th graders are not historically the most hygienic group of individuals so you can imagine how sparse our attendance gets this time of the year. My first two years of teaching I maxed out my sick days due to the fact that I wasn't used to being around that many sick kids and that many different kinds of sickness. But today, I have finally fallen victim this year to a bit of a stomach and head bug. I guess I have a couple more years to go before I can boast about my disease immunity. At least I will have a good defense built up by the time we have our own kids!!
